A Matigsalog term which means seedbed. The term stresses the program’s commitment to root the development of the Indigenous Peoples in the realities of their life and culture.

Indigenous Peoples’ Education

The program provides a variety of in-school and community-based academic and non-academic formation addressing critical needs and challenges of various indigenous communities of the country.

Programs and Services

Pamulaan offers culturally appropriate and relevant pathways of training and education for the indigenous children, youth and adults.

The heart and soul of the entire program of Pamulaan Center for Indigenous Peoples Education.

EDUCATIONAL APPROACH

The program provides a variety of in-school and community-based academic and non-academic educational formation addressing critical needs and realities of various indigenous communities of the country. 

It uses a cycle of CYCLE of learning system that start from EXPERIENCE leading to THEORY, APPLICATION, EVALUATION and REFLECTION. It is a system where students attend academic sessions while their practical training and application are done in the IP communities.
